Bonnie Tyler: Life as I know it
Not a lot of people know this but I'm very good at...decorating and getting houses done up. I'm no good at cooking though.
My best friend is...Gloria. I've known her since I was singing in the clubs years ago - around 1973. She's brilliant and will do anything for anybody. She's like an angel.
My nickname is...Hoppy. Well, it used to be in school because my surname was Hopkins. Then I changed my name first to Sherene, after my niece, and then to Bonnie Tyler. I wrote all the Christian names I could think of on one piece of paper, surnames on the other and came up with that.
The bravest thing I've ever done is...jump in the pool to rescue my little niece. I'm not a great swimmer so that was quite brave.
My favourite TV show is...Coronation Street or Only Fools and Horses. I still watch the repeats.
My perfect evening is...having a quiet dinner out, then coming home to watch a movie. It sounds boring but my life is so hectic.
I'd like to say sorry to...no one, really. I don't think I need to.
My first kiss was with...I can't remember his name but I was a late starter, more interested in playing with my dolls than going out with boys. Then a few years later, after I'd got married, we were having some work done in our bathroom, and the guy who came to do it was him. That was awkward.
My biggest regret is...I wish my husband and I had made time to have a family earlier. It was always "next year", but next year didn't come until I was 39. I conceived straight away but it wasn't to be. I love kids and luckily I've got 16 nieces and nephews, and 12 great-nieces and nephews.
The one thing I'd change about myself is...I'd like to have more of a waistline. I've always been straight-up-and-down. And I'd like to be taller. I'm only 5ft 3ins.
The best thing my parents taught me was...believe in yourself, just like my Eurovision song.
The first record I ever bought was...Hippy Hippy Shake by The Swinging Blue Jeans.
My greatest weakness is...bread - I could eat a whole loaf of toast.
I drive...a Bentley GT, is it called?
The shop I can't walk past is...I'm not a great shopper - I find it hard work.
The most expensive thing that I've ever splashed out on is...my boat - it's a 50ft yacht.
My perfect Sunday is...having my nieces and nephews down to visit. We'll go out for a walk and call in somewhere for tea and scones.
My favourite place in Britain is...Tenby, or the Gower peninsula in south Wales.
My last holiday was...at my place in Portugal. I can really relax there.
I'm currently reading...The Richard Burton Diaries. I'm not an avid reader though.
The best day of my life was...my wedding day. But the most exciting day was when my album Faster than the Speed of Night went straight into the British album charts at number one.
If I had half an hour left on Earth...I'd kiss all my nieces and nephews, and tell them how much I love them.
